Simple to retrofit The Kaba elolegic digital cylinder allows existing mechanical locking systems to be upgraded to construct an electronic access control system. The cylinder can be fitted to existing mechanical locking systems quickly and easily, and at a reasonable cost, and guarantees the security of your investment. It provides an elegant way of giving security-critical doors some additional flexibility. The integrated microchip uses a non-contact system to identify keys, badges or other media, checks whether the bearer is allowed access and employs a motorised mechanism to release the external knob. Authorised access is indicated by an illuminated ring and an acoustic signal.
