Key issuance systems enable keys to be issued to specific areas in buildings and organizations. Assigned keys are released by means of a card, a PIN or a card and a PIN. If necessary, the right to remove keys can also be restricted to certain times and all activities can be logged. 

Key depots provide a means of separating groups of locks in buildings or organizations, thus increasing security. Through the centralized collection of personal keys, a key which has been assigned to another group can be picked up at any time – the user's personal key remains captive until the other key is returned, thus ensuring that the user's personal key can be released. 

Key tubes with removal acknowledgement allow the use of deposited keys to be monitored and ensure correct return.
